We've only been together for about 6 months. I'm trying to come to terms with the fact that the girl I am madly in love with is about to move away, for up to 3 years. Thats probably for the best today anyway, as my head is certainly not on straight.
I am working on my real work, but it comes in spurts so I'm not required to be insanely focussed today. I'm sitting here at work yet again, with nothing to do. I hate that I can't talk to her about this. I guess the romance is fading? I don't know. I don't feel like a "partner" I feel like a friend. We used to have both, but now, it feels like we have neither. I need a serious emotional bond or understanding, or I need to have some serious chemistry. I usually need one of two things in a relationship to be happy (on top of the usual stuff you would expect). She can't be close to me, but thats what I need right now. Its really rough right now between us, and I'm afraid I'm drifting away. I want to talk to my girlfriend about this, but shes so wrapped up in her own stuff right now that she cant talk about us. I don't know what kind of trouble that could be, but it usually involves sex drugs and alcohol (or any combination therin). I have a feeling its the kind of night where something could happen that will get me in to trouble. I've organized a party for Saturday night and I think its going to be a rough night. I've had 2 hours of sleep since Sunday night and its getting to me. I'm not sleeping again, and I've started to hallucinate if I'm not paying attention. I don't mean that I'm sitting at home by myself or anything. This is my first Christmas alone in a long, long time.

The colf ice fields were very crowded, so the nature of the game evolved from a distance oriented game to a more target oriented one. In the 16th and 17th century, the Little Ice Age forced colvers to play on small frozen bodies of water.

The target could be a tree, a post, or even a hole, and the goal was to reach it in the fewest number of strokes. It was probably a team game with one target.
